Clinical Study Groups

Clinical Study Groups (CSGs) are committees of committed research leaders from throughout the Netherlands. These key opinion leaders have a strong record of participation in research in their relevant paediatric field. The Clinical Study Groups have a generic remit to provide specific advice to investigators and industry:

The MCRN works with 11 Clinical Studies Groups, covering most paediatric specialty areas:

  2. Benign Hematology
  3. Cancer
  4. Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Medicine
  5. Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition
  6. General Paediatrics
  7. Immunology, Rheumatology, and Infectious diseases
  8. Neonatal
  9. Nephrology
  10. Neurosciences and Psychiatry

Within each Clinical Study Group, sub-groups may be established to ensure that each specialty is adequately addressed. The Clinical Study Groups are supported by the MCRN Coordination Centre.
